Naelthira
Naelthira is a science-fantasy simming/roleplaying community that was founded in 2026 by Kim and Andrew. It is a collective of cooperative writers who all share a passion for a unique science fiction and fantasy setting. This Wiki serves as a codex to our multiverse and is built by our adventurers. We are a Roleplay First community, so it serves as an optional and supplemental source to the Adventures that are roleplayed out on our forums.
The multiverse, also known as Naelthira (pronounced NAY-uhl-theer-uh), is an interconnected web of universes and realities. Each universe has its own rules of physics, histories, magic, and possibilities. Since the dawn of history, civilizations have sought to explore and understand the universe. For most, it was merely theoretical; under many discovered the means to travel between different universes.
Getting Started
Our quick start steps and onboarding for our new Adventurers begin on our forums in the Hall of Portals. From there, you will go through a short process of preparation before you enter the new player area in the First Expanse.
Once the introductions and briefing are out of the way. Adventurers you will begin to build your first character.
Once you have gotten the basics, like all Adventurers, your new character will start at Drifthaven Station, an independently operated space station on the fringes of faction-controlled space and the frontier.
Once you are confident with your skills in the new setting, you can set out into Frontier Space or Transuniversal Infinity, which serves as the “Open World” of Naelthira in the Chrystalis Universe. They can also travel to Faction-Controlled Space, which is home to various established nations and organizations.
Our Stories
Our stories often mention travel to other universes. The majority of the stories we will tell, however, will take place in the Yirune Galaxy of the Chrystalis Universe, which we call home. Many Nations have developed methods for crossing between universes, each influenced by their unique technologies and philosophies, while others have chosen to remain focused on objectives in the home universe.
Exploration of An Infinite Setting
While some galaxies and parts of some universes have been explored, many expanses within Naelthira remain uncharted and undiscovered. With such vast expanses between locations, there is plenty of time for character development, which serves as the epicenter for our Adventures.
Worldbuilding
Our Worldbuilding Hub is a great place if you are someone who enjoys developing lore. While we are a Roleplay First site, and the paperwork is optional, we still encourage those who have the time and desire to help add to our lore.
